BLACK RHENO

 

 

Hailing from Australia, are Sydney’s genre bending heavy groove exponents Black Rheno. Leaving an undeniable mark on the scene since their beginnings in late 2015, they’ve built a solid fan-base through their high energy live shows and ability to translate their blend of stoner, sludge, punk, grind, groove metal into a wild and rollicking good time.

It's been a wild ride in this short time, having toured the country time and time again headlining & co- headlining for some of the country's best heavy acts such as Psycroptic & King Parrot, as well as supporting international bands such as Napalm Death, Brujeria, Red Fang, Revocation, Lock Up, Bongzilla, Philip H Anselmo and a recently completed tour with EYEHATEGOD across Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

With a trip to the USA to showcase at South By South West in Austin Texas and playing shows along side Ringworm, Darkest Hour and Iron Reagan while in the states, Black Rheno have cemented that fact they are out to take things to the next level.

Our mind is blown beyond all recognition!! What an amazing night, truly something we will hold on our hearts forever as Pantera is no doubt one of our biggest influences and favourite bands of all time. So insane!! We’d like to take a second to thank everyone that has helped and supported us along the way and send a huge thank you to these very special people, labels and music promoters for having us and including us on such a special night… this meant the world to us so thank you 🙏🙏🙏 First off, thank you to @panteraofficial - this was truly a dream come true!!
